  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The dataset comprises 100 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, within the North East Atlantic Ocean area. It incorporates the Dunstaffnage Marine Laboratory Rockall to Anton Dohrn Seamount (Ellett Line) section; a CTD survey of the Clyde Sea; CTD sections in the North Channel (Copeland-Portpatrick, Corsewall-Sanda, Kintyre-Antrim and Islay-Lough Foyle); CTD sections across the Scottish Shelf. The data were collected during May of 1989. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the Dunstaffnage Marine Laboratory.</dc:description>
