<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The dataset comprises 58 hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, from across the South West Atlantic Ocean (limit 20W) area specifically from Port Stanley (Falkland Islands) to the ice edge, close to South Orkneys Islands, and from the ice edge to the Polar Front, north of South Georgia, and from South Georgia to Port Stanley. The data were collected from December 2007 to February 2008. A complete list of all data parameters are described by the SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary (PDV) keywords assigned in this metadata record. The data were collected by the British Antarctic Survey as part of the DISCOVERY 2010 project.</dc:description>
