<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This dataset comprises hydrographic data profiles, collected by a conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) sensor package, during June 1987. It incorporates intensive surveys and sections in the Clyde Sea and the Sound of Mull, including sections from Islay to Ireland, from 6.5-8W along 55.75N (part of the Ellett Line) and from 6-10W along 56.1N (the Sound of Mull to Shelf Break portion of the Dunstaffnage Marine Laboratory Rockall Trough section). The latter included two 12-hour time series. The data were collected by the Scottish Marine Biological Association.</dc:description>
