  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">In 2015 Skomer Marine Nature Reserve changed designation to Skomer Marine Conservation Zone (MCZ). Skomer Marine Nature Reserve (MNR) was designated in 1990. Sechi disc readings have been taken since 1992. Samples of suspended sediment have been collected from 2 sites since 1994 and turbidity probes / loggers have been used (with limited success) since 2002. The purpose of this data capture was to provide a long-term record of sediment load in the water column and water clarity for the site.</dc:description>
