The purpose of the data capture was to map the location and extent of saltmarsh and associated vegetation types, to classify the stands in relation to the National Vegetation Classification, to apprise the quality of the vegetation and to produce information relevant to the completion of a conservation assessment of the constituent sites.</dc:description>
