  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The aim of this data capture was to report on the conservation status of the habitats and species within Wales' marine Special Areas of Conservation (SACs) and enable reporting of their favourable conservation status as well as to inform site management. Drop-down video surveys of SACs across Wales. Works is carried out by Royal Haskoning under contract to CCW and focuses on Pen Llyn a'r Sarnau SAC and Pembrokeshire Marine SAC. 

This project also aims to improve design and implementation of the project, harmonise the work in SACs with Water Framework Directive monitoring in overlapping areas and develop and refine Quality Control and Quality Assurance for drop-down video techniques.</dc:description>
