  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">In 2015 Skomer Marine Nature Reserve changed designation to Skomer Marine Conservation Zone (MCZ). Skomer Marine Nature Reserve (MNR) was designated in 1990. This dataset consists of the results of a survey carried out to describe the types of sublittoral habitats and communities adjacent to the coast in the region of the eastern boundaries of the Skomer Marine Nature Reserve. The purpose of this data capture was provide a basis for assessing the adequacy of the eastern boundaries in relation to sublittoral areas and their relevance in terms of the presence or absence of unusual communities or communities not well represented within other regions of the reserve.</dc:description>
