  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Bardsey Island and the adjacent coast of the Llyn Peninsula was one of seven area proposed by the Nature Conservancy Council for establishment as a statutory marine nature reserve. The purpose of data capture was to describe the range of habitats, communities and species present on littoral rock within the proposed marine nature reserve and to assess the scientific interest and conservation importance of the areas visited. This dataset contains the results of a survey carried out in 1983 to describe the range of habitats, communities and species present on littoral rock on Bardsey and the Llyn Peninsula.</dc:description>
