  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">In 2015 Skomer Marine Nature Reserve changed designation to Skomer Marine Conservation Zone (MCZ). Skomer Marine Nature Reserve (MNR) was designated in 1990. A detailed survey of the shores of Skomer Marine Nature Reserve was carried out in 1982. This dataset comprises of the results of surveys at two sites within Skomer MNR during 1994 and 1995 designed to establish monitoring sites and collect baseline survey data on the macrofauna and megafauna of the sediment/water interface in shallow subtidal regions. The purpose of this data capture was to initiate monitoring of the sediment/water interface in shallow subtidal regions taking into account both macrofauna obtained from samples and visible megafauna.</dc:description>
