Skomer Marine Nature Reserve (MNR) was designated in 1990. The results of a survey carried out to re-examine permanent quadrats and transects established in Skomer Marine Nature Reserve in 1992 (see separate metadata "Establishment of permanent quadrats at Skomer Marine Nature Reserve") following the Sea Empress oil spill in February 1996.</dc:description>
