<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The purpose of this data capture was to gain an understanding of the benthic sediment ecology of St Brides Bay in order to contribute to the development of conservation objectives for the Pembrokeshire Marine candidate Special Area of Conservation (SAC). During the summer of 2000 Countryside Council for Wales (CCW) investigated St Bride's Bay using a variety of survey techniques. This dataset contains the results of the analyses of biological data from grab and anchor dredge samples, and examines the community types present by comparison with those listed in the Marine Biotope Classification of Britain and Ireland.</dc:description>
