Marine Monitoring Drop-Down Video around North Llyn Special Area of Conservation ( SAC ) 2012 dataset https://portal.medin.org.uk/portal/start.php?tpc=007_NRW_DS115526 Special Areas of Conservation (SACs) are strictly protected sites designated under the EC Habitats Directive. The Habitats Directive includes a list of habitat types and species that are considered to be most in need of conservation at a European level (excluding birds, which are covered under the EC Birds Directive). Once sites have been designated, the country agencies work with owners, occupiers and others to secure their management and protection regime. This dataset provides a continuation of data collected from Drop Down Video Monitoring in Pen Llyn a'r Sarnau SAC. The purpose of this data capture was to inform management decisions within the SACs.
