Marine Licensing: Band 1 Sensitive Areas dataset https://portal.medin.org.uk/portal/start.php?tpc=007_NRW_DS119005 NRW agreed, identified and documented which habitats and SAC features are sensitive to a range of Marine Licencing Band 1 activities. This dataset consists of two layers detailing information about sensitive habitats. These datasets constitute polygons derived from NRW held BAP (Section 7) / OSPAR layers, Regulation 35 SAC habitat layers and Phase 1 intertidal survey. All the habitats included in these layers were deemed to be sensitive to Marine Licencing Band 1 activities. The data includes records of protected or sensitive habitats, collected as part of baseline survey, monitoring programmes and ad-hoc records. A third layer is derived from the Special Protection Area (SPA) designated sites dataset and identifies SPA sensitive to Marine Licencing Band 1 Activities. The publicly available dataset has some environmentally sensitive information redacted. Only a redacted version of this data is available under the Open Government Licence and available for public use, see Limitation on Public Access and Use Constraints. An un-redacted version can be requested and may be provided under a NRW licence. 20180103
