<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The bait digging evidence database (an Excel spreadsheet) contains the detailed information which forms the rationale for the report produced by ABPmer entitled ‘West, V., Robbins, K., Frost, N., Hull, S. 2022. Bait Digging Management Options. NRW Evidence Report Series Report No: 602, 74pp, NRW, Bangor’.

It displays information about each of the eleven bait digging sites in Wales in order to inform potential management measures. This includes information such as sediment type, exposure, area of the site, intensity of digging, extent of Section 7 muddy gravels, recovery times of sediment, protected sites present, site access and proximity of potential displacement sites. It also contains the intensity scoring, which uses proportion of the site used for bait digging and intensity of digging to rank and prioritise the sites.</dc:description>
