  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This data is a map of the extent of marine areas in Welsh waters that have been identified as compensatory habitat within Welsh waters and along Welsh coastlines under Regulation 68 (Compensatory measures) of The Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations 2017. 

These areas are afforded the same protection and management requirements as the SAC Natura 2000 designated sites. 

This also includes areas delivered by the National Habitat Creation Programme.
