  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Baseline studies of seasonal changes in animal communities have been carried out over a 1 year period near to Garland Stone, North East Skomer. Visits to the site were made at 2 monthly intervals and in situ, photographic and sample collection methods were carried out. Two replicate 25cm x 25cm samples of substratum were carefully collected, returned to the lab and preserved in formaldehyde. All taxa were identified to the highest level possible.

This data may be related to the survey '1987 Rostron PMSA -Skomer MNR subtidal monitoring project (MR5 Identifier MRCCW10000000056)' although they cover different time periods and were digitised separately.</dc:description>
