  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Evidence source for understanding more about community place attachment, 
social cohesion, and connection with nature. The data was collected online 
from October 2024 to December 2024. It includes social data gathered through 
Likert scale questions, single and multiple open-ended questions, and 
sociodemographic data from a representative sample of Eastern England 
residents. 

The data encompasses various aspects such as:


- **Informed Consent**- : Participants' agreement to participate in the 
 study, understanding that their participation is voluntary and that their 
 data will be used for research purposes.
- **Demographic Information**- : Includes questions about participants' 
 residential postcode, type of accommodation, home ownership status, 
 duration of residence, gender, age, ethnic group, highest educational 
 qualification, employment status, and annual household income.
- **Area Attachment**- : Participants' level of agreement with statements 
 about their attachment to their area, such as feeling attached to the 
 area, identifying strongly with it, and having fond memories of it.
- **Natural Environment Attachment**- : Participants' level of agreement 
 with statements about their attachment to the natural environment in their 
 area, such as feeling at peace in the natural environment and learning 
 about themselves when spending time there.
- **Area Meaningfulness**- : Participants' level of agreement with 
 statements about why their area is meaningful to them, including its 
 beauty, recreational opportunities, and cultural significance.
- **Concerns About Area Changes**- : Participants' concerns about 
 potential changes in their area, such as environmental or social changes.
- **Favourite Coastal Place**- : Information about participants' 
 favourite coastal place within the study area, including reasons for its 
 significance and frequency of visits.
- **Travel and Activities**- : Details about how participants travel to 
 their favourite coastal place, the duration of the journey, and the
