Exploration of the Sea (ICES) coordinated herring larvae survey of ICES Region 
IVb during the two standard sampling periods in October. Plankton samples were 
collected at each site on a planned survey grid. This data consists of the 
numbers of herring and sprat larvae.</dc:description>
