<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Multibeam sonar survey covering Hythe Bay Marine Conservation Zone MCZ in
2012, Survey line spacing was designed to achieve 100% MBES coverage, thus
lines were designed based upon 10m line spacing in 0-5m water depth, 20m line
spacing 5-10m water depth and 30m line spacing for 15m water depth and 40m
line spacing for 20m water depth and above. Survey cross lines were run at 20x
mainline spacing. A minimum working depth of 3 metres of water was enforced on
the survey vessel to maintain the safety of the vessel and crew. This survey
approach allowed sufficient bathymetry soundings to be taken to meet the IHO
Order 1a specification of the survey.</dc:description>
