  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">As part of contract C7260, 55 samples of freshwater and seawater were 
collected at sites in the Stiffkey and Glaven catchments and in Blakeney 
Harbour in the winter of 2016/2017. Each sample was tested for concentrations 
of the bacterium E. coli using membrane filtration techniques. The data were 
reported by the laboratory as colony forming units/100ml and the results 
recorded in the form of Excel spreadsheets.</dc:description>
