Survey : CEND 6/03 (part of North Sea Groundfish Survey, Qtr 3 (FSS: IBTS3E; NSGFS)) series https://portal.medin.org.uk/portal/start.php?tpc=009_CEFAS393deed4-baf5-4e7c-92e3-92827128945c This survey was undertaken by Cefas as part of the North Sea Groundfish Survey, Qtr 3 (FSS: IBTS3E; NSGFS); 75 core trawl stations are completed annually, to provide distribution and stock composition estimates for fish species. Station, catch, length (all species) and biological data (selected species) are collected using research vessels and GOV trawls. Benthic catches are also recorded. These annual surveys (ongoing) are carried out in support of EU data regulations and as part of the International Bottom Trawl survey. Additional aims include collection of water temperature, salinity and litter data. Survey took place between 07/08/2003 and 04/09/2003 on CEFAS Endeavour Equipment used during this survey : - Otter Trawl GOV Long Wing 36/47 Standard IYFS Spec. - Shippek Grab - Van Veen Grab Swansea Specification Survey operations were undertaken on 207 stations 185 different species were caught on this survey 20160616 20160616
