Survey : CEND 2/13 (part of South Western Beam Trawl Survey, Qtr 1 (FSS: Q1SWBEAM)) series https://portal.medin.org.uk/portal/start.php?tpc=009_CEFAS3c87ce88-c866-4d10-b4e3-2e70c5e1b201 This survey was undertaken by Cefas as part of the South Western Beam Trawl Survey, Qtr 1 (FSS: Q1SWBEAM); Annual research vessel surveys in the Western English Channel using 4m beam trawls in support of EU data regulations and as part of an ICES funded research program. Randomly selected survey position design. In 2012 the survey coverage was extended to cover the Celtic Sea using both the 4m beam trawl and the GOV trawl. In 2013 the survey returned to using the 4m beam trawl only. Additional aims include collection of benthic, water temperature and salinity and acoustic data.
