Physical and chemical properties of seawater for the North Sea, in each month of 1976 dataset https://portal.medin.org.uk/portal/start.php?tpc=009_CEFAS53eec225-08ba-44bd-af6e-2bfa25541c41 Series of 12 cruises carried out by Cefas in 1976 on board RV Corella and RV Clione, resampling a grid of fixed stations every month throughout 1976. Data provided: date; station number; time; position (latitude and longitude); depth; tide direction; wind speed and direction. Environmental variables measured include: temperature (surface and bottom), salinity, transparency (%), nutrient concentrations (nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, silicate); chlorophyll-a (total and nano); phaeophytin (total and nano). These data have been converted into digital format (excel files); however there is more data collected during the same survey (e.g. fish stomach content; fish larvae counts; phytoplankton counts) that has not been converted and is still in paper format (paper records are kept by Steve Milligan, Plankton Lab). 20131017 20120328
