  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Ichthyoplankton samples were collected over three separate periods during a 
survey in an area 15 miles south south west of Brown Ridge in the central 
North Sea. As part of a number of survey objectives the distribution of early 
stage plaice eggs was investigated. This data consists of the numbers of 
plaice eggs and the larvae of herring and sprat identified from the main net 
samples. Positional data and volumes filtered are included.</dc:description>
