  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">A series of groundfish surveys were carried out on the fishing vessel Silver 
Star from 1976 to 1991 in the eastern Irish Sea. Fishing took place using a 
Boris Goshawk trawl towed for an hour. This data is from the 3 surveys carried 
out during 1981. Numbers at length by centimetre of the main commercial fish 
species are recorded. Station positions by area are recorded. A summary table 
is included for cruises 02/81 and 03/81 containing catch data for all other 
species.</dc:description>
