Survey : CIRO 2/90 (part of North Sea Groundfish Survey, Qtr 1 (FSS: IBTS1E)) series https://portal.medin.org.uk/portal/start.php?tpc=009_CEFAS6e35d03b-91b8-447a-bc09-b9e897929590 This survey was undertaken by Cefas as part of the North Sea Groundfish Survey, Qtr 1 (FSS: IBTS1E); Station, catch, length (all species) and biological data (selected species) for each of the annual surveys covering the North Sea using research vessels and GOV trawls in support of EU data regulations and as part of the International Bottom Trawl survey. Additional aims include collection of benthic, water temperature and salinity and litter data. Survey took place between 27/01/1990 and 19/02/1990 on Cirolana Equipment used during this survey : - Bottle Casts Nansen bottles Reversing surface and bottom - Frame Trawl ISAAC-KIDD 2.5m bars standard IYFS spec. - Frame Trawl ISAAC-KIDD METHOT 2sq m opening - Otter Trawl GOV Long Wing 36/47 Standard IYFS Spec.
