  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">A series of groundfish surveys were carried out on fishing vessel Silver Star 
from 1976 to 1991 in the eastern Irish Sea. Fishing took place using a Boris 
Goshawk trawl towed for an hour. This data is from the 2 surveys carried out 
in 1988. Numbers at length by centimetre of the main commercial fish species 
are recorded. Station positions by area are recorded. A summary table is 
included for cruises 01/88 and 02/88 containing catch data for all other 
species.</dc:description>
