Survey : CORY 7/88 (part of North West Groundfish Survey, Qtr 3 (FSS: NWGFS)) series https://portal.medin.org.uk/portal/start.php?tpc=009_CEFASD93FEAFF-C945-4A01-A150-065A696414D9 This survey was undertaken by Cefas as part of the North West Groundfish Survey, Qtr 3 (FSS: NWGFS); Station, catch, length (all species) and biological data (selected species) for each of the annual surveys in the Irish Sea and Bristol Channel using research vessels and 4m beam trawls. Data mainly used to create indices of abundance in support of EU data regulations and as part of an ICES funded research program. Additional aims include collection of benthic, litter, water temperature and salinity and acoustic data. Survey took place between 20/09/1988 and 13/10/1988 on Corystes Equipment used during this survey : - Beam Trawl 3m Dutch style 3 ticklers - Beam Trawl 4m steel commercial 3/5 link mat flip up 75mm CE 40mm liner AFT - Otter Trawl 78ft Granton Liner, Rubber bobbins, Polyvalent doors - Vertical Profiler CTD Type 8770 Survey operations were undertaken on 313 stations 70 different species were caught on this survey 20160610 20160609
