This portal contains Ostia Marine Heatwaves (MHW) and Cold Spells (MCS)
dataset between 2020-present. There are following datasets:

- Daily MCS Flag: sea surface temperature below 10th percentile computed
from 10 years of OSTIA L4 Reprocessed data for the particular day
- Daily MHW Flag: sea surface temperature above 90th percentile computed
from 10 years of OSTIA L4 Reprocessed data for the particular day
- MCS Duration: The number of consecutive days since the trigger of the MCS
 in 10 days rolling window
- MHW Duration: The number of consecutive days since the trigger of the MHW
 in 10 days rolling window
- MCS Warning: Pixels, where sea surface temperature has been below 10th
percentile for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 days. This shows areas which could
potentially become MCSs= a pixel being flagged as MCS 5 consecutive days
 in a row
- MHW Warning: Pixels, where sea surface temperature has been above 90th
percentile for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 days. This shows areas which could
potentially become MHWs= a pixel being flagged as MHW 5 consecutive days
 in a row
