  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This survey was carried out between 24th Apr-14th May 1992 in the Irish Sea by 
the Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science. Plankton 
samples were collected at each site on a planned survey grid using a 
high-speed plankton sampler and the Longhurst-Hardy Plankton Recorder. This 
data consists of the numbers of plankton (ichthyo- and zoo-), along with 
associated positional data and volumes filtered.</dc:description>
