<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">A Fisheries Science Partnership survey was carried out in September 2005 to
provide information on cod in selected areas at east Greenland. A particular
focus was the relative abundance of cod of the 2003 year-class, which a trawl
survey carried out in 2004 by the Institute of Fisheries in Germany (RV Walter
Herwig) indicated was the second strongest since 1982.The stern trawler FV
Farnella was chartered under the FSP to complete 35 stations in strata 6.1,
6.2 and 7.2 fished during the Walter Herwig survey since 1982.</dc:description>
