Copernicus Nutrients for the UK shelf 1989 to 2014 dataset https://portal.medin.org.uk/portal/start.php?tpc=009_CEFAScf17c92b-cb90-4aa1-a296-8f1b5d747a18 This is a nutrients product developed from CMEMS product NORTHWESTSHELF_REANALYSIS_BIO_004_011. There are two gridded products, yearly winter mean nitrogen concentrations, and yearly winter mean phosphate concentrations. The data covers the period 1990 - 2014 and is at 0.111° x 0.067° resolution. Winter means are also provided for a set of regions used for eutrophication assessments: MSFD regions, regional seas, WFD coastal areas, and Ecohydrodynamic regions. Files: ntra_winter_1990_2012.nc, ntra_winter_2013_2014.nc, phos_winter_1990_2012.nc, phos_winter_2013_2014.nc contain gridded winter means for the years indicated. 2013 and 2014 are in separate files as the model grid changed slightly after this point. ntra_MSFD_winter_means_1990_2014.csv and phos_MSFD_winter_means_1990_2014.csv contain winter nitrate and phosphate means for each of the MSFD regions: Greater North Sea and Celtic Seas for the years 1990 - 2014. ntra_RegionalSeas_winter_means_1990_2014.csv and phos_RegionalSeas_winter_means_1990_2014.csv contain winter nitrate and phosphate means for each of the regional seas (1-8, also known as charting progress 2 regions) for the years 1990 - 2014. ntra_WFD_coastal_winter_means_1990_2014.csv and phos_WFD_coastal_winter_means_1990_2014.csv contain winter nitrate and phosphate means for each of the WFD coastal assessment regions, for the years 1990 - 2014. ntra_Ecohydro_winter_means_1990_2014.csv and phos_Ecohydro_winter_means_1990_2014.csv contain winter means for Ecohydrodynamic regions (cropped to the MSFD regions).
