  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This data is derived from the deployment of archival data storage tags (DST) 
on Atlantic cod (Gadus morhua) and European plaice (Pleuronectes platessa) in 
the North Sea and English Channel. Tags were deployed throughout the time 
period 1996 to 2010. The dataset includes 107 individual fish each with its 
own bivariate time series of horizontal (m per day) and vertical movements (m 
per day). Daily geolocation estimates (latitude and longitude) are also 
provided. The length of each time series varies substantially from a minimum 
of 40 days to a maximum of 399 days.</dc:description>
