  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The temporal patterns of offshore wind farm (OWF) activity during the 
installation of the turbine foundations were examined using data from 2003 to 
2018, a timeframe over which the UK&#x2019;s OWFs have been developing. Data were 
collated from publicly available sources and evaluated for the temporal trends 
relating to OWFs. The list of the UKs OWF was taken from The Crown Estate and 
Crown Estate Scotland. Only large-scale commercial deployments of the UK&#x2019;s 
Round 1, 2 and 3 OWF were considered. Developments of five or fewer turbines 
were classed as demonstrator projects and excluded from the study.</dc:description>
