North Northumberland and Berwickshire cSAC rocky shore monitoring sites baseline survey dataset https://portal.medin.org.uk/portal/start.php?tpc=010_138281ddee1840f3892f1f5a31cdfd35 The aim of this study was therefore to establish monitoring transects at a series of rocky shore sites that represent the range of rock features and biotopes present in the cSAC, and to carry out a baseline survey of them so that the communities of animals and plants can be monitored in future years. A total of 12 transects sites were established and surveyed, between Pettico Wick near St. Abbs and Boulmer in Northumberland. The transects were fixed using a range of techniques that should enable future surveyors to relocate the defined areas easily and accurately.
