  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The South Coast Regional Environmental Characterisation study is a multidisciplinery project involving the biology, geology and archaeology of an area of the English Channel 5800km2. Funded by the MALSF. A 2m scientific beam trawl with a 5mm mesh liner was used to sample epibenthic fauna. Benthic samples were collected for faunal and granulometric analysis using a 0.1m2 Hamon Grab.</dc:description>
