  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Modiolus modiolus presence record from autumn porcupine meeting 1993 in the Isle of man. In addition to those species found living, records of unusual or rare species found only as shells are included. Abundances were recorded but are not included in the paper. Whilst at the Autumn 1993 Porcupine meeting, based at the Port Erin Marine Laboratory, attendees took part in a days sampling on the R.V. Roagan. A total of seven stations southwest of the Isle of Man were sampled. Coordinates, details of gear used, depth and substrate are available in the paper. Examples of all phyla were collected, particularly for the National Musuems of Scotland. Only the mollusca are included in the paper.</dc:description>
