  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Marine species abundance data from 1992 environmental assessment post operation of Cowes Southern Science Long Sea Outfall. Survey carried out by Southern Science, for Southern Water Services, in 1992. Twenty sites were sampled using a day grab. Species were counted and identified to species level where possible. Depth and sediment types are available for each site. This dataset was collated as part of a Joint Nature Conservation Commitee (JNCC) contract.</dc:description>
