<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">In March 2022 MSDS Marine were appointed to the Historic England framework agreement to provide archaeological services in relation to marine protection. Under the framework MSDS Marine were commissioned by Historic England to undertake an undesignated site assessment on an unidentified wooden wreck site on the Goodwin Sands. The wreck was identified during geophysical survey of the designated wrecks on the Goodwin Sands. The wreck was a candidate for scheduling under the 1979 Act. A Stage 1a DBA recommended the project proceed to a geophysical survey. High Resolution Multibeam Bathymetry data were collected using a Teledyne Reson T-50R Multibeam Echo Sounder (MBES) mobilised onto the dedicated survey vessel Spectrum 1.</dc:description>
