  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Report following biological surveying of the upper, middle and lower benthic communities of the Humber Estuary. The surveys purpose was to provide information about the key species and communities found in the soft sediments and the conservation importance and condition.
 Fourty seven stations along the estuary were sampled. Sampling included particle size analysis (PSA) and biological data such as species abundance. Biotopes were then assigned throughout the sampling area and presented in map form.</dc:description>
