<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The survey was designed to measure the number of early benthic stage Eastern European lobster larvae in the inshore North Sea. Cages were purposefully built for the project and 4 were dropped at 10 locations along the UK's North East coastline. The cages were left to soak on the seabed, the species found in the cages after retrieval were identified and the abundance recorded. Measurements of temperature and salinity were also taken.</dc:description>
