  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This data has been collected as part of the North West Coast Connections project (NWCC), Morecambe Bay. A geotechnical survey was undertaken which acquired three boreholes around the target Islet location. The purpose of this survey was to evaluate natural and mechanical properties of seabed and intertidal sediments.</dc:description>
