  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This collection comprises images, a site record and GIS from a watching brief at the Wastefront site, Port of Sunderland, Sunderland. Work was carried out by Archaeological Research Services Ltd between February and April 2025 as part of the planning process prior to the development of a waste management facility. Throughout the site there was evidence of various phases of development including foundations of the possible Sawmill and Depot buildings, as well as the partial remains of a fish quay wall.</dc:description>
