<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Sabellaria alveolata presence records from a study at Duckpool, north Cornwall. In the spring of 1975, the Sabellaria zone at Duckpool, north Cornwall, was not in prime condition and by the autumn had become relatively poor. It seemed that there could have been no great settlement of larvae since 1970, but there was some evidence of a moderate patchy settlement late in 1973. In September and October 1975 a heavy settlement took place over much of the upper region of the zone. The paper describes the colonies of Sabellaria alveolata that have been recorded at Duckpool. In Wilson, 1971 there is a map indicating where on the shore the various colonies were found. The scale of the map makes it very difficult to estimate the latitude/longitude and/or grid references of the colonies described. A point in the middle of the shore, given in the paper, has therefore been used.
