  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Echinus esculentus records from a more comprehensive comparative survey of fauna eaten by flatfish compared to actual benthic fauna. Bottom fauna, of a small area near the Cumbrian coast, were invesitgated using a grab and compared with the gut contents of flatfish. A map of locations is included in the paper, but no latitude/longitude given, therefore, an area incorporating all the survey stations has been estimated from a map. This survey was collated by MarLIN as part of a contract to find information on the distribution of species and habitats in the Irish Sea as part of the Irish Sea Pilot project.</dc:description>
