  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">A sublittoral survey of St. Kilda candidate* Special Area of Conservation was carried out during June and July 1997. The survey was undertaken using acoustic techniques (RoxAnn) validated by ground-truthing involving diving and remove survey using Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV). The littoral survey was undertaken through site visits to the shore with biotopes determined based on MNCR marine biotope manual (Version 97.06).</dc:description>
