  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Magnetometer survey of area in which an Armada vessel was said to have sunk. A cannon had been found in the vicinity in 1956, prior to which, 18th century salvage attempts had yielded an iron cannon. The Archaeological Diving Unit (ADU) magnetometer and subsequent diver survey revealed a cannon dated to the late 17th or early 18th century; and a probable grave slab of similar date. No craft remains were identified. The location or area of search area is not specified in the ADU dive report.</dc:description>
