  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC), in collaboration with the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI), conducted an offshore seabed survey on the Scottish Continental Shelf (OSPAR Region III - Celtic Seas) in September / October 2024, under the marine Natural Capital and Ecosystems Assessment (mNCEA) programme. Approximately 45 km2 of multibeam bathymetry and backscatter was acquired from a previously un-surveyed area of Stanton Banks MCZ using a Kongsberg EM2040 Multibeam Echosounder. This data has not been fully processed yet but will be made available via the data archive centres once finalised.</dc:description>
