<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The survey was undertaken to assess the presence of non-native species in 43 marinas throughout Southern England. The funding for this project came from the Natural England, The Bromley Trust and the Marine Biological Association, administered by Natural England.
All 34 target NNS presence/absence are noted and abundance estimated. Some native species are also included in this dataset. The majority of species were determined on site. This method focuses primarily on fouling organisms which live attached to solid substrates.</dc:description>
