The work comprised site survey by the Cae Nest Group Welsh Institute of Maritime Archaeology and History at the University of Wales (Bangor) and limited recovery of artefacts to enable identification/dating of the site. The work was followed by survey and excavation work by the Cae Nest group under the direction of M.Bowyer and with A.Konstam as the historic advisor; and is reorded separately as englishh1-94924</dc:description>
